QD Stores has relaunched its transactional website in a bid to take on the likes of Wilko.
The Norwich-based independent variety retailer is offering first-time customers £5 off their first order. Where it previously offered a limited range, several thousand products were now listed, it said.
Delivery charges are based on weight, with orders less than 2kg costing £2.95 and baskets up to 30kg valued at £4.50. An additional charge will be calculated at point of transaction for orders that weigh over 30kg. Orders over £75 will be eligible for free delivery.
“There are plans to add a food offer to the website but we want to see how things progress first,” said a spokesman.
