Heinz has appointed Robin Walker, commercial director for quick serve meals, to the newly created post of change director for its UK and Ireland business.
Heinz said it had created the post to increase focus on forthcoming change management projects, freeing up the commercial business to meet the company’s financial commitments. Walker will report to Stefan Barden, MD, Heinz UK and Ireland.
Heinz has also announced that Paul Kaye will be assuming Walker’s previous role on October 4. He will be responsible for all aspects of that business and will aim to build on the recent relaunches of Heinz Beans and Heinz Soup.
Kaye joins Heinz from Masterfoods where he spent the past year as the business development director for southern Europe.
He has held marketing positions at Masterfoods during the past seven years, working on brands such as Whiskas and Uncle Ben’s.
