A coffee-flavoured sweet is launching in the UK to link into the nation’s growing thirst for the beverage.

Kopiko, available now, consists of two variants original coffee and creamy cappuccino, both made with real coffee beans.

“Every high street in Britain has at least one coffee shop now, which goes to show how popular coffee is among the British public, who were once such ardent tea drinkers,” said Kopiko UK MD Dan Lawson.

Already available in 55 other countries, more than 35 million packs of the sweets were sold every year, Lawson added.
