Unilever is backing the addition of two flavours to its successful Lipton Fruit & Herbal tea range with a £2.7m marketing push.

The Forest Fruits and Pink Citrus flavours (rsp: £1.15) will roll out later this month and build on the £1m sales the range has recorded since launching in May. The sampling and press support will start from next week.

"Lipton Fruit & Herbal Infusions will increase penetration by attracting young-minded consumers to the brand with gorgeous new flavours, made using real fruit, herbs and spices," said brand manager Kelly Scorah.
