Tree News magazine is a fresh launch from The Tree Council and tree enthusiast Felix Dennis. The glossy bi-annual  the only magazine of its kind on the news stands  will cover all aspects of trees and forestry in Britain, from contentious conservation and natural regeneration issues to unusual features on woodcraft, and news. Tree News in its previous form was published by the Tree Council for its members since 1989, and won the BBC Best Environmental Charity Publication in 1997. Editor John May says: "Tree News brings a new dimension to the countryside-in-crisis debate and will raise the profile and importance of trees and forestry in Britain in an entertaining manner." The launch issue incorporates 60-pages covering topics such as The Eden Project, and ancient woodland. The publisher hopes the high quality, colour format will attract a broad spectrum of countryside lovers Tree News has an on sale date of May 24, and a cover price of £2.99. Distribution is by Seymour. {{CTN }}
