Manor Bakeries is hoping to appeal to festive revellers who have mince pie fatigue in its Christmas cake innovations.
Mr Kipling Cranberry and Orange Whole Cake (rsp: £2.99) and individual Mr Kipling White Chocolate & Cranberry Muffins (rsp: 89p) are just some of the supplier’s new products .
There will still be 19 festive lines but some of last year’s range is being axed to make way for the new products and put emphasis on bestsellers. The Mr Kipling mince pie range has a new recipe and packaging. Innovations include a Mr Kipling Slice Selection of four pieces of Christmas Cake, Pudding & Brandy, Cherry & Amaretto and Rum, Caramel & Raisin (rsp: £2.35), Cadbury Chocolate Christmas Cake (rsp: £7.49) and Cadbury Chocolate Cake Mint Bites (rsp: £1.49).
There will also be a new festive mix for Cadbury Mini Cake Selection. The ranges are available from tomorrow.
Douwe Egberts has developed a premium coffee range from regions around the world, for use in its co-branded Senseo coffee pod system. Highland Spice Sumatra, Sunset Hills Kenya Blend and Mountain Breeze Brazil Blend variants have won listings in Waitrose and Tesco Extra.

Speciality nuts producer Dormen’s is launching Belgian milk and white chocolate coated jumbo raisins and peanuts. Both peanut and raisin variants come in 100g bags with an rsp of 99p.

Soreen has launched a new pack design for its malt loaf. The packaging features a new logo with a distinctive and modern background, to make the brand more eye-catching on shelf. Additional nutritional and allergen information will be included on pack.

Warburtons is adding a thick sliced Wholemeal Toastie loaf to its bread range from the end of the month. The 800g loaf will have an rsp of £1.01.

Swizzels Matlow has launched a Go Zero range of sugar-free children’s sweets consisting of a Cyber Stick chewy lollipop, a Cyber Chew bar and a Lolly Mix bag.
