Free-from brand Amy’s Kitchen has rolled out two new frozen products - including a breakfast sandwich.
Described by the supplier as “a first of its kind” for the UK, the Amy’s Kitchen Gluten Free Breakfast Sandwich (rsp: £2.49) features a vegetarian sausage patty and a layer of scrambled tofu, seasoned with a savoury sauce. Ready-cooked, it is gluten and dairy free, and can be heated in five minutes.
The brand is claiming another UK first with it Chinese Noodles & Veggies, which includes rice noodles and a mix of organic vegetables.
Both products will roll out this week to Tesco stores, with the sandwich going into 276 stores and the noodles into 481.
