Mango Tequila and Strawberry Tequila can be served neat, over ice, or in a cocktail

Halewood-owned rum brand Dead Man’s Fingers has added a duo of cream liqueurs.

The brand first moved into the liqueurs category earlier this year, and has now created two new 17% abv flavours, Mango Tequila and Strawberry Tequila (rsp: £15/70cl).

They are billed as blending ”quality, barrel-aged tequila reposado with smooth, fruity flavours of mango and strawberry and cream for a delicious drinking experience”, and are recommended to be served neat, over ice, or “in an indulgent cocktail” such as a Mango Cooler or Strawberry Espresso Martini.

The brand, which was bought by Halewood in 2018, had “always been about making our own rules and bringing consumers delicious, exciting and surprising drinks experiences”, said Dead Man’s Fingers global marketing director Rachel Adams.

“Berry flavours remain popular within spirits, so our strawberry tequila cream liqueur will be a welcome addition to the category, whilst tropical flavours are an in-demand flavour profile that can give consumers an exciting taste of the exotic.”
