Kopparberg is expanding its cider portfolio with a new Passionfruit & Orange flavour.
Launching exclusively at Sainsbury’s in both can (rsp: £12/10x330ml) and bottle (rsp: £1.90/500ml) formats, the new cider (4% abv) is said to serve a blend of citrus and exotic flavours.
It combined the citrus flavour of orange with exotic notes of passionfruit, for a “perfect drink with a fruity twist”, said Kopparberg.
It will hit stores on Sunday (14 February).
Kopparberg said it decided to launch Passionfruit & Orange following the ”successful” launch of its Passionfruit & Orange Gin last year.
The launch follows that of Kopparberg Hard Seltzer and Kopparberg Rum.
Kopparberg head of marketing Rob Salvesen said the brand was “always looking for new ways to keep ahead of the curve and react to emerging trends and consumer demand, whilst also being trendsetters in the industry”.
“As we’re anticipating that first drink out of lockdown, we wanted to create a variant that reminds Kopparberg fans that better days are ahead and give our customers a flavour we know they’ll love.”
