Moorish is hoping to lure in chocolate spread shoppers with a new chocolate houmous.
It is made with a with a blend of chickpeas, coconut milk and sesame seed paste, as well as cocoa powder, pomegranate molasses and golden syrup.
It claims to contain 70% less sugar than other branded chocolate spreads and zero palm oil.
It will debut in Sainsbury’s next month (rsp: £1.80/150g).
