Aldi has made a new round of price cuts worth £100m across 330 products.
Latest reductions include 21-day matured sirloin and ribeye steaks, dropped by 80p to £4.49 and £4.59 respectively.
Diced chicken breast (600g) and Aldi’s filled pasta lines are down by 30p to £3.99 and £2.19 respectively.
Aldi’s Specially Selected Cheddar cheeses (350g) are down by 40p to £2.99, and its Lacura SPF50+ sensitive lotion has been dropped by 30p to £2.99.
Reductions have also been made across fruit & veg, according to Aldi, including 40p off a four-pack of nectarines and 22p off honeydew melons.
Aldi made an earlier £60m round of price cuts in summer essentials in May. The latest round takes its total investment in cutting prices so far this year to £300m across more than 1,000 products, according to the discounter.
The Grocer revealed last week that Aldi was the only one of the UK’s six biggest supermarkets where average unit prices fell in the second quarter of 2026, according to Worldpanel data.
“It’s never been more important that everyday grocery essentials and family favourites remain affordable,” said Aldi UK chief commercial officer Julie Ashfield.
“We’re committed to keeping prices low on popular products because we know it can make a real difference, helping families to make the most of the summer.”
