Arla Protein has debuted an ‘indulgent’ high-protein milkshake in a cup-and-straw format.
The 200ml lactose-free drink is available in Vanilla Fudge and Chocolate Brownie flavours (rsp: TBC).
The NPD, which has launched into Asda now and will hit shelves in Sainsbury’s on 3 September, is said to provide 20g of protein and 182 calories per serving.
It has been dubbed by the brand as ‘the perfect afternoon snack’ or ‘evening reward’.
“We’re thrilled to bring this indulgent milkshake to supermarket shelves this summer,” said Amy Punchard, brand manager at Arla Protein UK.
“It offers active consumers a permissible treat that fits seamlessly into their health goals.”
Last year, Shaken Udder unveiled a range of Protein Milkshakes containing 20g of protein in chocolate and strawberry flavours.
