
Orders have dwindled at Domino’s Pizza Group as the fast-food chain battled a challenging backdrop and subdued consumer confidence.
Lowers volumes in the second half of the year to 28 December pushed down profits for the London-listed business, with underlying EBITDA 6.6% lower than in 2024 at £133.9m. Pre-tax profits declined 35% to £81.1m.
System sales at Domino’s rose 1.5% last year to £1.6bn, but like-for-like numbers were up just 0.2%, while revenues climbed 3.1% to £685.4m.
Like-for-like orders in 2025 fell 2.3% and total orders for the year tumbled 0.9%, with delivery orders down 1.7%. Collection orders returned to growth for the year thanks to the group’s first-ever national advertising campaign promoting the value in channel, with Q2 (+2.9%) and Q3 (+1.7%) the strongest periods.
Despite the tough trading environment, Domino’s made market share gains in 2025, with its share of the takeaway market nudging up 0.3 percentage points to 7.3% and its share of the UK pizza takeaway market rose 7.5ppts to 52.6%.
Interim CEO Nicola Frampton said the group had a good finish to the year as business picked up over the Christmas trading period and the results were in line with expectations.
“I’m pleased with the strong momentum we are carrying into 2026,” she added.
“In 2026, we are focused on strengthening our core business and driving disciplined execution across the organisation. In particular, we are excited about a number of strategic and operational initiatives to drive sustainable growth, including: the successful system-wide launch of Chick ‘N’ Dip; a strong pipeline of wider product innovation; the development of our loyalty program; and continued enhancements to our industry-leading supply chain.
“These initiatives, combined with Domino’s exceptional brand and strong market position, give me great confidence in our ability to create further value for our customers, franchise partners and shareholders,” Frampton added.
Frampton was appointed as interim boss inn November after former CEO Andrew Rennie left the group with immediate effect as the pizza chain struggled for growth.
