Ehrmann Cornish Dairy has been announced as Team England’s Official Partner for the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.

Ehrmann is expected to play a major part in supporting the team’s journey to the games, due to begin 23 July, and in inspring the public to get active in the months leading up to them.

A core element of the partnership is Ehrmann’s role as lead partner of Team England’s National Weekend of Sport in July.

The nationwide event is due to take place at over 280 sports and leisure facilities operated by GLL, with free or reduced rates offered for a range of special taster sessions, classes and activities on 18 and 19 July.

The programme is designed to to give communities the chance to try multiple sports, with a particular focus on the 10 Commonwealth Games sports, alongside activities led by Team England athletes and partner sports organisations.

Ehrmann said the partnership was a way to encourage healthier, more active lifestyles as it expanded its presence in the UK.

“By harnessing the inspiration Team England athletes bring to the nation, we’re excited to help motivate local communities to get involved and be active, particularly through the National Weekend of Sport,” said Ehrmann Cornish Dairy marketing director Mark Moody.

The National Weekend of Sport will be supported by a marketing and PR campaign and is expected to engage “hundreds of thousands of people”, with the aim of encouraging families, young people and new participants to get involved.
