Motor Fuel Group is driving a new digital advertising proposition across its 1,200-strong estate, in partnership with retail media specialist GIG Retail.
The forecourt giant said the network opened up “unprecedented access” for brands to engage with millions of on-the-go consumers.
It will be driving brand visibility across its forecourt and convenience store estate through three digital screen formats: window screens, above-payment counter screens, and till screens.
GIG Retail pointed to recent data that found 48% of people in the UK stopping for fuel also purchase non-fuel items, representing a “highly receptive audience primed for spending”.
Motor Fuel Group’s offer spans fuel, grocery, food-to-go, as well as EV charging, valeting, ATMs and parcel lockers.
“This represents a massive step forward in the fuel forecourt sector,” said Joe Chamberlain, account director at GIG Retail. “With our multi-format digital network, we are giving brands the scale and agility to connect with an affluent, diverse and captive audience right in the heart of their daily routines.”
MFG operates a network offering customers a portfolio of the nation’s most trusted brands, including Shell, BP, Esso, Texaco, EV Power, Morrisons, Londis, Greggs, Pret a Manger and Burger King.
