Oatly has announced the launch of a new range of ready-to-drink oat-based iced coffees to enjoy on the go

Oatly has unveiled the launch of ready-to-drink iced coffees in a first for the brand.

The Oatly Barista Iced Flat White (rsp: £2/235ml) and Oatly Barista Iced Caramel Macchiato (rsp: £2/235ml) will launch into Tesco and are made for customers to “enjoy on the go”.

The products combine Oatly oat milk and arabica coffee, with the Flat White offering that “unmistakable flat white taste” and a bigger coffee hit.

The Macchiato has a “touch of caramel for a rounded, indulgent flavour”.

“This ambient ready-to-drink format has been developed with the growing grab-and-go audience in mind,” said Bryan Carroll, general manager at Oatly UK. “We are seeing a real shift in how shoppers consume coffee, with Gen Z in particular driving the surge in cold formats – a trend that continues to remain a cultural movement as we head into the new year.”

The products can be stored at room temperature, but are recommended to be served chilled, or over ice.

Shoppers can find the ready-to-drink cans in more than 400 Tesco stores.

“Taste remains central to all Oatly innovation, and alongside the rising demand for convenience, we are excited to see the response to these new RTDs as they roll out in Tesco,” said Carroll.
