The powders had ‘multiple nutritional benefits’, Plenish claimed

Plenish has added a pair of plant-based protein powders made from just seven ingredients.

Packs in Madagascan Vanilla and Cocoa & Sea Salt are set to roll out via DTC and on Amazon later this month (rsp: £45/30 servings).

Both were made from “just seven naturally sourced ingredients, including pea protein”, Plenish said. They are also a source of fibre and contain no additives or sweeteners.

With 20g of protein in each serving, Plenish’s protein powders delivered “great taste, multiple nutritional benefits, and an ingredients list consumers can trust”, the Carlsberg Britvic-owned brand said.

“We know today’s consumers expect more from their wellness products and want multiple health objectives in a single product,” said Russell Goldman, MD for breakthrough brands at Carlsberg Britvic. “Consumers using protein powders want to hit their protein goals while keeping things simple, and enjoying added benefits like fibre, without having to compromise on taste.

“Our new protein powders deliver exactly that, staying true to our mission of ingredient transparency and great-tasting products. This launch is an exciting milestone for Plenish, and we can’t wait to see how it elevates everyday wellness routines for our consumers.”

It comes after Plenish unveiled a new visual identity for its shots range, alongside its largest-ever marketing campaign, last month.
