Sainsbury’s is offering Nectar customers 25% off over 500 Taste the Difference products to celebrate 25 years since the launch of the premium own-brand range. 

Available until 7 October, the promotion will roll out across a range of new and popular Taste the Difference products including fridge fillers, bread and dairy, frozen items, drinks and sweet treats.

Taste the Difference first launched in October 2000. According to Sainsbury’s, the most popular product in the history of the range is Vittoria Cherry Vine Tomatoes, while the Madagascan Vanilla Custard is the most popular dessert in 2025 after a 30% year-on-year sales uplift. 

The Taste the Difference Colombian Origin Instant Coffee is the most popular coffee product, while Valencia Orange Lollies have seen a 109% year-on-year increase in sales. 

“For 25 years, Taste the Difference has been a trusted favourite in British homes, delivering on its promise to bring quality and flavour to the everyday dining experience without compromising on value,” said Sainsbury’s chief commercial and sustainability officer Rhian Bartlett. 

“With Taste the Difference appearing in a third of our customers’ shopping baskets, it’s clear the range has become a standout choice and now with over 500 products available at 25% off with Nectar Prices, customers can fill their baskets with delicious delights at a fraction of the cost.”
