Boots is set to open its second beauty-only store, in Bristol, this spring.
The 11,000 sq ft Boots Beauty store coming to Bristol’s Cabot Circus Shopping Centre will be stocked with over 200 brands across skincare, haircare, fragrance, cosmetics, premium beauty, and electrical beauty, according to the retailer.
It follows the opening of the first Boots Beauty store at Battersea Power Station in London in 2023.
As well as selling leading brands such as Kylie Cosmetics, One/Size and Wonderskin, the Bristol store will feature a dedicated space for niche and independent fragrances. It will also offer free beauty services including skin scans and scalp diagnostics.
Boots is pushing ahead with a ‘beauty transformation programme’, attempting to change how customers discover the ranges across its estate. The Bristol store will bring together learnings from other retail concepts including the Boots Fragrance store that opened in Broadgate Central, London, last year, and the ‘wellness zones’ introduced in six Boots stores nationwide in January this year.
“Boots is the unrivalled home of beauty in the UK, and this new store gives us the perfect stage to showcase the best of Boots in one of the country’s most vibrant and creative cities,” said Boots Beauty director Paul Niezawitowski.
“We hear a lot from customers that they want immersive shopping experiences, expert guidance and inspiration, and with price points from 50p to £500, our next Beauty-only concept store certainly delivers on that and more. We’re delighted to bring to life this next exciting step in our beauty transformation.”
Shelley Taylor, senior asset manager at Cabot Circus owner Hammerson, said: “Beauty and wellbeing is in high demand with our customers and this exciting new store format by Boots will offer never-seen-before products in the south west.
“With brands continuing to expand with us, it’s clear that Cabot Circus is the first choice for the newest, most exciting and relevant lineup for customers.”
