Coca-Cola says it has "no immediate plans" to launch Vanilla Coke in the UK, contrary to reports.
A spokesman for the soft drinks giant told The Grocer: "Vanilla Coke has enjoyed a successful launch in the US since its introduction there five months ago. This success has led to the launch of the product in Sweden but we have no immediate plans to launch Vanilla Coke in Great Britain."

Longer lasting
Durex is bringing forward the launch of its new Performa condom which is designed for longer lasting lovemaking.
The company, which had scheduled the launch for next spring, has changed its mind after selling more than 18,000 of the line over the net in the last three months. Performa contains a small amount of cream, said to prolong lovemaking.

Swiss manufacturer SEVIM of Montreux has asked us to point out it produces the Quick Cuisine self-heating meals spotted at last month's Sial show in Paris and not R&E Food (The Grocer, October 26, p54) which is the brand's Benelux distributor.
