Just when you think brewers are running out of names for their beers comes… Collier’s Shivering Whippet.
The beer was inspired by Viz’s ‘Real Ale T**ts’, a bearded band of ‘casketeers’ who pompously ale-splain their way through a regular comic strip. Cartoonist Davey Jones included the name in the strip as a tribute to brewer (and fellow Viz contributor) Alex Collier, a fan of the breed. Collier then made it a reality!
