Fry’s two new products, Stars & Moons and Chick’n Fillets, will sit alongside the brand’s previously launched Popcorn Chick’n

The Fry Family Food Co has launched two new plant-based chicken alternatives into the meat-free freezers at Iceland and The Food Warehouse stores across the UK.

Fry’s plant-based Stars & Moons (rsp: £2.65/300g), lightly breaded chicken-style star and moon shapes, and Chick’n Fillets (rsp: £2.65/180g) are designed to help families choose more plant-based options for mealtimes.

It follows the brand’s launch of Popcorn Chick’n into Iceland and The Food Warehouse earlier this year, and comes as part of the ongoing strategic partnership of Fry’s owner the Livekindly Collective, which started in 2021.

“Plant-based products such as Fry’s Stars & Moons are a great addition to our meat-free range, bringing visual appeal right from the pack through to the product itself – we know kids are going to love it and that we are helping busy families to eat a little more plant-based,” said Andrew Staniland, trading director at Iceland.

“We are delighted to bring two new family products to the UK,” said Tammy Fry, global brand lead of the The Fry Family Food Co. “Inspired by our families and our kids, we are excited to deliver convenient and delicious plant-based options to UK families.

“Hopefully it’s a lot easier for people now to make a kinder choice,” she added.

Both products are available in Iceland and The Food Warehouse stores now.
