Green & Black’s products have broken through the £10 price point for the first time in five years with a new gift range.

The brand has pledged to add value to the confectionery category by rolling out four new lines intended for ‘all-year round’ gifting. The line-up includes a tasting collection featuring 12 flavours (rsp: £10.99/ 395g); the G&B Ultimate Collection (rsp: £14.99/ 580g) with bars of assorted sizes arranged as a puzzle; and the Dark Collection (£5.49/180g).

It is also targeting the ­after-dinner market with Conversations (rsp: £5.49/­ 180g), a selection of 5g chocolate squares in a range of flavours. The packaging of each square features conversation starters.

“We haven’t gone as high as this with price for a long time, but want consumers to feel they’re getting something really special,” said James Holloman, G&B marketing manager for product and innovation.
