Jefferies analysts suggest punchiest response from Morrisons to Sainsbury’s/Asda proposed merger would be a bid for Sainsbury’s.. but how abt a counter bid for Asda? surely more brand synergy and might have an easier ride with regulators, although both are concentrated up north
