Birds Eye's Pub Specials range gives consumers a taste of their local gastropub without having to fork out the heavily inflated prices that tend to accompany such establishments. Developed in partnership with Paul Yaxley, a top chef at the Fox & Goose Inn in Suffolk, the meals were initially launched in Cumberland meatballs, white wine chicken breast, scrumpy glazed chicken breast and tender braised beef but four more products, including two fish-based recipes, were added in September. Priced between £1.49 and £2.49 it's pub grub for the masses.
