Chocolate maker Bendicks has appointed George McLearie as trade marketing manager.
McLearie joins from BSkyB where he was head of business partners, leading a commercial business unit. Prior to BSkyB, he held senior sales, marketing and strategic planning positions at United Biscuits.
McLearie replaces Andy Morrison, who has been promoted to the new role of business unit controller in the Bendicks sales team.
In his new role, Bendicks said that McLearie would provide a strong link between the brand marketing and sales teams and would be responsible for helping Bendicks deliver its marketing plan. He will also develop all support materials, data, analysis and research to allow the sales team to maximise its performance.
