Waitrose: no more Heston's puds coming

Waitrose will not be making more deliveries of Heston Blumenthal Christmas puddings to stores, despite continued shortages.

The weeks needed to cure the oranges used mean there is no time for any more to be made.

Despite having tripled orders before the festive shopping season and then upped them again, Waitrose has again run out at many stores and Ocado has no stock left.

“We’ve done everything we can to make sure there are enough,” said a Waitrose spokeswoman.
