Arla Foods has sealed its commitment to the UK white cheese market with the creation of a new role overlooking its brands in the sector.

Its new brand manager for white cheese, Belinda Parkinson, will be charged with building awareness and driving trial of Arla’s key white cheeses - Indian dairy brand Savera, salad cheese brand Apetina and Middle Eastern cheese brand Puck.

Parkinson, previously future creations manager at Arla Foods, started in the role last week.

The creation of the role follows a flurry of listings for Arla’s white cheeses last year. Savera paneer went into Tesco stores in October, while Puck gained listings in Asda earlier in the year.
