The consumer
This hot chocolate was like heaven! The powder was really easy to mix, and dissolved well without having to get the whisk out. The taste was rich, chocolatey, creamy and very frothy. A lovely comforting drink on a cold day for both me and the kids, who also loved it. A definite hit. Five stars (out of five)

The retailer
The overriding sugary taste overwhelms what little chocolate flavour there is. The drink has a very thin consistency when made with water and there is little evidence of the 'creamy cappuccino-style frothy top.' Perhaps this only works when making the drink with hot milk. Overall a very disappointing experience. One star

The Grocer
A top drink from Mars to warm you up on those cold winter nights. Described as "silky smooth with a frothy top", the drink delivers on all the claims made on the packaging, as well as living up to the expectations that come with the Galaxy brand. It is a bonus that the powder can be mixed with either water or milk, as this is not the case for all hot chocolate powders.

However, to create the creamy taste expected from a Galaxy product, milk is the answer. Compared to Maltesers, Cadbury and Aero-branded hot chocolates, it is pricey but worth the extra money. Four stars
