Booker’s new website

Booker is launching a new-look website and app to deliver a “faster, smarter” digital experience for customers, suppliers and colleagues.

Live from today (25 September), the platform is supported by new corporate branding and a refreshed look, with new high-resolution photography.

Customers from the retail and catering sectors will be able to access features such as visual shopping lists, personalised homepages tailored to their fascia or sector, and product recommendations for pairing suggestions that complement chosen items.

According to the wholesaler, the website will offer smarter ordering tools, enhanced search functionality and improved print layouts for lists and favourites.

Product images will also now appear on customers’ shopping lists as part of an updated checkout experience, alongside a one-click add-to-basket functionality.

“We’re thrilled to unveil the first stage of our brand new digital experience across our website and the Booker app – a fresh, modern experience that showcases the very best of Booker,” said Booker group technology director Richard Lamb.

“We’ve created an intuitive, seamless experience covering the entire customer journey – from browsing to checkout, with personalised features and an improved shopping journey, we’re making it easier than ever for businesses to grow with us.

“From our extensive, high-quality product ranges to the brilliant value and services we offer, it’s designed to inspire our customers and help them thrive.”

Customers will be able to visit the same URL and login using their existing password and customer number, while all saved trolleys and favourites will remain intact.

The refreshed platform marks the first phase of Booker’s digital transformation, with plans to roll out additional features and functionality in the coming weeks and months.
