Morrisons has joined forces with Snappy Shopper to roll out home delivery across its company-owned convenience stores in England and Wales.
One hundred Daily stores have introduced the service so far, following a pilot with five sites last year. A further 100 stores are set to launch Snappy Shopper in 2027, out of its 1,000 company-run convenience stores.
The supermarket giant said the latest phase of the rollout marked a significant milestone in the partnership, extending fast, convenient grocery delivery to more communities and strengthening its presence on the Snappy Shopper marketplace.
Through the Snappy Shopper app, customers can order everyday essentials, Morrisons Savers products, own-brand lines and multibuy promotions. Orders over £35 qualify for free delivery.
Snappy Shopper said the partnership had reached an average order value of £31, demonstrating growing demand for convenient online grocery shopping.
Deliveries will continue to be fulfilled by Nash, which is the AI infrastructure for logistics and co-ordinates deliveries on behalf of third-party couriers, with JetGo serving as the preferred last-mile delivery partner.
“We’re pleased to expand our Snappy Shopper partnership across our Morrisons Daily stores, making it even easier for customers to shop with us,” said Morrisons group online director Charlotte Exell.
“This rollout gives households in England and Wales even more convenient ways to get fresh food and groceries from Morrisons delivered straight to their door.”
Snappy Shopper CEO Mike Callachan said: “We’re delighted to continue expanding our partnership with Morrisons Daily as we roll out across hundreds of stores throughout its convenience estate.
“The expansion reflects the strong performance of the partnership to date and our shared ambition to make fast, reliable grocery delivery available to even more customers.
“By combining Morrisons Daily’s trusted convenience offering with Snappy Shopper’s technology, we’re helping retailers grow online while providing shoppers with greater choice and convenience.”
