Pre-budget tariff cut move ‘won’t curb inflation’ says FDF and NFU

The government last Friday confirmed it would press ahead with already-maligned proposals to remove tariffs from more than 100 everyday food items
Pre-budget cost of living measures to remove tariffs on everyday food items have been dismissed by experts as ineffective, and will have a “limited impact on prices”.
