Tate & Lyle has appointed Kim Faulkner as chief supply chain officer and Melissa Law as chief commercial and transformation officer.
Effective 25 August, Faulkner will join Tate & Lyle’s executive committee from Colgate-Palmolive, where she is currently chief ethics & compliance officer.
Faulkner has spent 27 years at Colgate-Palmolive and has held several senior global supply chain roles during that time.
“We are delighted to welcome Kim to Tate & Lyle and look forward to benefitting from her vast experience and knowledge of operating complex global supply chains,” said Tate & Lyle CEO Nick Hampton.
Faulkner will take the reins from Law, who currently serves as chief supply chain officer and has been promoted.
Prior to joining Tate & Lyle in 2017, Law spent 12 years at global energy technology company Baker Hughes, in various operational and commercial roles.
Since joining Tate & Lyle, Law had led a “highly successful productivity programme” for the business, it said.
“Melissa has built an impressive and proven track record of success throughout her career, and we are excited she is taking on this key role as we look to accelerate growth across our newly enlarged business,” said Hampton.
Tate & Lyle completed the acquisition of CP Kelco, a leading provider of pectin, speciality gums and other nature-based ingredients, in November.
Speaking at the time, Hampton said the combined business was “perfectly positioned to support customers as they look to meet growing global consumer demand for healthier, tastier and more sustainable food and drink.”
