Annabel Karmel

Annabel Karmel has written several books on children’s and baby nutrition

Recipe box company Gousto is to sell “family-friendly” Annabel Karmel recipes in a three-month trial.

The baby and children’s food guru will devise 20 recipes for Gousto, which will be available from September to December.

The meals, which include Heavenly Hidden Veg Bolognese, Mouthwatering Veggie Mac & Cheese and One Pot Chicken & Tomato Orzo, will join Gousto’s 22 weekly options for subscribers.

Gousto said the Annabel Karmel options were both “nutritionally balanced” and “proven to suit fussy eaters”.

Founder and CEO Timo Boldt said: “We know Gousto already works for families across the UK, by taking the hassle out of planning, shopping and cooking, with a choice of quick and easy recipes and flexible delivery.

“We’re excited about the Annabel Karmel partnership because it allows us to take this one step further, lifting a weight off parents’ shoulders by giving them the confidence to cook good family food which works for everyone sitting around the dinner table - even the youngest of diners and fussiest of eaters!”

Gousto has partnered with a number of high-profile names over the past year, including Mary Berry, Nadiya Hussain and Madhur Jaffrey.
