Birds Eye has introduced a trio of new products to the freezer aisle.
Chicken Popsterz (rsp: £1.59) are bitesize southern-fried chicken pieces that Birds Eye claims are designed to be a meal accompaniment or snack.
Also launching this week are two lines of Mini Chargrills, lightly glazed with sweet barbecue or mild sweet chilli flavours (rsp: £1.99). Designed for children's midweek meals, the newcomer will line up alongside Birds Eye regular-sized Chicken Chargrills, which were relaunched last May.
The launches are the latest in a flurry of NPD for the frozen giant. At the end of May, Birds Eye introduced a Fish, Chips and Peas Dinner, which included the company's 100% Fish Fillet and Field Fresh Garden Peas (rsp: £2.49).
