Ornua has kicked off the latest iteration of its graduate training scheme, with the aim of recruiting its “next generation of leaders”.

The Ornua Graduate Programme is inviting applications from graduates in Ireland, the UK, Nigeria, North America, Germany and Spain. It is offering permanent roles across “key business functions”, including information & communication technology, sales & marketing; supply chain & logistics; manufacturing & engineering, and finance.

Successful applicants would be granted “the unique opportunity to develop their careers by gaining international experience”, with positions available in Ireland, Germany, Nigeria, Spain, the UK and the US, said the Irish dairy giant.

Ornua Graduate Programme was “specifically designed to equip high-performing graduates with the business skills and experience needed to excel in one of Ireland’s leading international food businesses”, the supplier added.

The initiative featured “structured rotations with exposure to multiple disciplines and business units, successful candidates will also benefit from guided mentorship from senior leaders within the business”.

As well as taking part in project work and receiving real responsibilities, graduates will undertake continued professional development through structured classroom training and self-directed learning modules.

The Ornua Graduate Programme will accept applications until 5pm on 21 October, with successful applicants taking up their positions in September 2023.
