Jug It, the reusable milk bag jug from Dairy Crest, has been listed in 270 Tesco stores following a 10-store trial.

The jugs along with Country Life milk bags started rolling out into Tesco stores at the end of June. Jug It is already listed in Sainsbury’s and Ocado, and is currently being ­trialled by Asda.

Tesco senior milk buyer Simon Reeves said he saw Jug It milk bags as “not only appealing strongly to our shoppers, but also as an important step in helping to reduce our carbon footprint on milk.”
