McVitie’s is adding a new salted caramel flavour to its Club line-up.

The new SKU featured the same crunchy biscuit middle, “complimented by a sumptuous, salted caramel flavoured cream”, said the brand.

Multipacks of seven and eight biscuits have already rolled into Morrisons, Asda and Iceland, and will hit shelves at The Co-op, Sainsbury’s and Tesco over the coming months (rsp: £1-£1.70).

Club had been “a favourite among biscuit-lovers for many years, so we’re very excited to be able to offer a brand-new flavour for fans to try”, said McVitie’s marketing director David Titman.

“Salted caramel has become a hugely popular flavour over recent years, so we just couldn’t resist”, he added.

It comes after the biscuit behemoth has spent recent weeks expanding its product offering.

Last week, it relaunched its BN biscuits sub-brand after a four-year hiatus.

Earlier this month, it entered bagged treats with the launch of McVitie’s Blissfuls.
