Challenger butter brand All Things Butter has launched Spreadable Butter into Ocado.

The Spreadable Butter (rsp: £3.45) was made from four ingredients and one of the lowest percentage of oil currently available on the market, the brand said.

It contains no palm oil, artificial colouring or preservatives.

It is churned at Gower using British cream and rapeseed oil for smoothness, which is then balanced with water and salt.

The brand said the launch met growing consumer demand for convenience and whole foods.

“At All Things Butter, we’re continually evolving our range to ensure there’s a butter to suit every table and taste – from modern foodies to busy families seeking convenience without compromise,” said Toby Hopkinson, co-founder of All Things Butter. “Our new Spreadable Butter is a natural step forward, bringing our unbeatable quality to consumers seeking convenience whilst continuing to champion British dairy.”

The brand is also launching two new conventional SKUs – non-organic versions (rsp: £2.85) of its salted and unsalted butters set to launch this month.

Hopkinson said this was a “key milestone in our mission to make high-quality British butter accessible to more people”.

The portfolio expansion is designed to help the brand bring a “fresh take to a stagnant industry” with its new “broad, tiered product offer”.

“These products deliver the same rich, creamy taste our customers love, still made with 100% British cream, at a price point that works for everyday households,” said Hopkinson.
