Atis is to add wraps to its menu for the first time, marking the salad chain’s third new food and drink category this year.
Built around the same fresh, scratch-cooking ingredients already offered by Atis, the new range is designed to broaden the brand’s appeal, offer a more portable format, and open up the menu to a wider customer base.
The wrap menu spans four combinations in Blackened Chicken Caesar, Lemon Herb Chicken Avo, Tahini Sweet Potato Avo, and Chicken Satay Crunch. Each is layered with mixed greens and dressings, and priced between £7.50 and £9.50.
The four-wrap range will debut across nine sites over two weeks, beginning with Atis’ restaurants in Moorgate and Southbank on 6 October.
The wraps will launch in the Regent Street and Editions sites on 8 October, followed by Eastcheap, North Audley Street and Baker Street on 13 October, and King’s Cross and Mayfair on 15 October. Further sites will follow in the coming months.
The wraps launch alongside a new pitta chips and cottage cheese ranch dip available as an add-on for £1.50 with a wrap or £2.50 on its own.
“Wraps have been a long time coming at Atis,” said Atis co-founder Eleanor Warder. “We have been working on this category for over a year because we didn’t want to simply add wraps to the menu and have them get lost in everything else that we do. In the end, we decided to develop our own bespoke tortilla specifically for Atis, going through hundreds and hundreds of iterations to get the texture, size, flavour and stretch exactly right.
“We have taken some of the flavours and combinations our customers already know and love, but completely reworked them for this new format. The result is a range that is vibrant, fresh, full of texture, big on flavour, feels good to hold – and unmistakably Atis.”
The wider Atis menu is also undergoing a refresh for autumn, in response to demand for bigger portions, more room to mix and shake salads, and a simpler selection of curated combinations.
Atis’ bowl offering will move to a large size only, served at its regular bowl price. A new hex-shaped bowl format will give customers more room to mix and shake meals, “making it easier to get every ingredient fully coated in Atis’ signature dressings”, the brand said.
Two plates will join the lineup in Blackened Chicken Grains and Satay Tofu Slaw, while porridge and egg pots will join the breakfast menu.
The build-your own menu will also see a refresh with the return of Heritage Carrots and the addition of Kale Harvest to the deli salads.
Atis will also be reducing its delivery prices on Deliveroo, which it said would make it “easier for customers to order more of the menu, more often”.
The launch of wraps marks the third new category that Atis has entered into this year. In March, the salad chain introduced its first range of smoothies and shakes, followed by the launch of a breakfast menu for the first time in July, in what the business described as its “biggest move yet”.
