Au Vodka 0%

Four packs have launched via DTC (rsp: £7.99/4x330ml)

Au Vodka has added its first alcohol-free product.

The Swansea-based booze brand has launched cans of Blue Raspberry 0% via DTC (rsp: £7.99/4x330ml). They will roll into 700 Tesco stores later this month.

Blue Raspberry 0% was “made for those who love the taste of Au without the buzz,” according to the supplier.

The carbonated soft drink was “perfect for both parties or chilled nights in”, it added.

“We’ve been watching the way the 0% alcohol market is exploding and how people’s drinking habits are changing,” said Au Vodka sales director Tom Smith. “More and more, consumers are looking for premium choices that let them enjoy the social side of drinking without compromise.

“We wanted Au to be front of mind in that shift not just as an alternative, but as an exciting, must-have brand that brings everyone together. For us, it’s about making sure nobody feels left out, and that Au is right there at the heart of the party!”

Au has been one of the biggest success stories in alcohol in recent years. The brand, founded by Charlie Morgan and Jackson Quinn in 2015, grew revenues by 25.9% to £65.0m in the year ended 29 April 2024.

After extending into RTDs in 2021, Au has quickly risen to become a top-five supplier in the segment. Volume sales of its RTDs climbed by over 200% to 18.2m units last year.

In May, the brand added a duo of caffeinated, higher-abv RTDs under a new sub-brand called Au Ultra.

Cans in Blue Raspberry and Strawberry Burst are available in all major UK wholesalers and via DTC (rsp: £3.79/500ml). They carry an abv of 7% and contain 25mg of caffeine per 100ml.
