M&S has started getting recruitment back online, having pulled all jobs from its careers website after cyberattackers struck in April.
For the first time in several weeks, the retailer’s careers page is listing jobs again. Current vacancies include a senior buyer position in London.
M&S is also looking to fill an e-commerce & dispatch stock planner vacancy in London, and four positions in digital & tech in Salford, Greater Manchester.
However, there are still no store roles listed.
The Grocer reported in June that M&S stores were turning to their individual Facebook pages to advertise walk-in recruitment open days while the retailer’s careers site was unable to list vacancies. The stores – including in Shoreham, West Sussex, and Peterborough – were inundated with interested applicants.
M&S is having to rebuild online systems to regain control from the hackers who struck over the Easter bank holiday weekend. The retailer resumed online orders of some clothing lines in June but is not expecting the service to be fully restored until August. It is expecting to take a £300m hit to profits this year as a result.

On Thursday, four people were arrested as part of a National Crime Agency investigation into cyberattacks on M&S, Co-op and Harrods.
A 17-year-old British male from the West Midlands, a 19-year-old British male from London, a 19-year-old Latvian male from the West Midlands and a 20-year-old British woman from Staffordshire were arrested this morning on suspicion of Computer Misuse Act offences, blackmail, money laundering and participating in the activities of an organised crime group.
All four were arrested at their home addresses and had their electronic devices seized for digital forensic analysis.
