Educational networking programme Women in Wholesale (WiW) has relaunched its Coaching Academy for 2025 with a new group format.
This year 34 participants will take part, an increase of over 40% compared with up to 24 participants in previous years.
More than half of the new cohort are from wholesale businesses including Booker, Sysco, Reynolds, Savona, LWC Drinks, Pricecheck, Bidfood, Suma Wholesale, Creed Foodservice, Unitas, and Country Range.
Each cohort will work in small groups, meeting monthly from September to February for six 90-minute virtual sessions.
Guided by a professional coach and supported by peer-to-peer learning, the sessions provide a structured, confidential space to explore leadership challenges, develop strategic thinking, and build confidence.
“We first launched the Coaching Academy in 2022 as a practical way to help women strengthen their confidence, build personal resilience and develop leadership skills – all under the guidance of accredited coaches,” said WiW founder Elit Rowland.
WiW chairperson, coach and director of immediate impact Clare Bocking added: “The Coaching Academy is about long-term change – improving representation of women in senior roles and unlocking leadership potential right across our sector.
“This new group format means we can support even more women, while still providing the same depth of coaching and peer-to-peer learning.”
