The Saucy Fish Co is to make its debut on national TV after sales soared by up to 300% in the wake of a regional TV ad earlier this year.

Running between 3 and 29 January, The Saucy Fish Co campaign will air on ITV, Channel 4 and 5 and across all Sky channels. It represents a £1.6m spend for the company.

The Saucy Fish Co - launched in January 2010 by brand owner Seachill - previously ran an ad across the South West, Meridian and Yorkshire ITV regions in October. Following the ad, like-for-like sales were up by 200% to 300%, Seachill claimed.

Marketing director Simon Smith said the success of the regional ad had “hugely encouraged” Seachill. “This has given us a really strong platform for a national rollout of the TV campaign,” he added.

The TV ad will be supported by digital activity and a social media push.
