Helen Tomlinson has been appointed category planning controller for out of home retail at pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline. Tomlinson, who takes up her new role on April 24, joins GSK from biscuit, confectionery and snack manufacturer Burton's Foods where she worked for seven years, most recently as commercial marketing controller, working on Maryland and Wagon Wheels brands. She has also held the position of customer marketing controller.
In her new role, Tomlinson will focus on driving growth for the company's drink brands Lucozade, Ribena and Horlicks in the convenience, wholesale and high street retail sectors.
