The Somerset-based brand said all of the product’s sugars would be derived naturally from organic British milk and real fruit

Yeo Valley Organic has expanded its children’s and adult yoghurt ranges.

A new no added-sugar multipack variant in its Little Yeos yoghurt range has been designed for weaning babies and toddlers, combining organic British milk and real fruit purée, the brand said.

As well as containing zero added sugar, the SKU promises to be free from artificial sweeteners and flavourings, with the only sugars said to come naturally from the milk and fruit content.

The NPD will contain two flavour combinations – Mango & Vanilla and Blueberry & Banana – and will roll into Tesco stores from Monday 5 July (rsp: £1.50/6x42g).

“Little Yeos No Added Sugar was developed specifically with babies’ and toddlers’ needs in mind, and means you can feel confident you’re giving [your] little ones food as it should be right from the start,” said Little Yeos brand manager Heidi Narvo.

“By mixing our thick and creamy organic yoghurt with real fruit purée, we’ve created a new, delicious recipe with no added sugar. This allows the true flavours of fruits to come through to develop a healthy taste palate for your child while having all the goodness of organic whole milk dairy in a perfect little pot.”

Yeo Valley has significantly expanded its Little Yeos range over the past 12 months. The new yoghurt joins two yoghurt pouch variants, which were launched last September.

Meanwhile, the dairy brand’s adult offering has also been extended, with the announcement of a new format and flavour for its kefir range.

Currently only available in tubs, from next month the products will also come in portion-sized multipacks aimed at on the go or fridge snacking occasions.

Variants are set to include Strawberry, Mango & Passionfruit and new flavour Raspberry (rsp: £2/4x100g). All three will be launched into Tesco from next Monday (5 July) and Ocado during July, before heading into Sainsbury’s in September. Waitrose will stock the raspberry variant from 4 August.”
