Savyll’s alcohol-free cocktails have rolled into Ocado (rsp: £2.25/250ml)

Non-alcoholic drinks challenger Savyll Beverage Co has secured £500k to expand its RTD mocktails offer.

The London startup received the six-figure backing from angel investors. It will support the expansion of Savyll’s UK business in out-of-home and sporting hospitality, as well as international distribution across the Far East, Scandinavia and the US.

Savyll has also signed a deal with Ocado. Four of its canned, alcohol-free cocktails – Bellini, Mojito, Moscow Mule, and Paloma Tequila – have rolled into the retailer (rsp: £2.25/250ml).

The brand had already doubled sales over the past 12 months, it said. This had been “driven by business gains across Asia, Sweden, and Whole Foods Market in the UK, as well as exclusive corporate hospitality deals with Edgbaston Cricket Stadium and Stamford Bridge”.

Changing the rules for low and no alcohol labelling is a no-brainer even Rishi and Liz can agree on

Founder Avnish Babla was “very proud to enter the next stage of our growth”, he said. The brand would use the investment to “double down on our successes, both here in the UK and across international markets”.

The Ocado deal was “an exciting step for us in UK retail, giving our consumers more access to the brand as part of their weekly shop”, Babla added.
