Fine food supplier Cypressa has launched a range of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern-inspired pastes and tapenades.
The six-strong lineup comprises Smoky Tagine, Aubergine & Feta Mezze; Tomato, Feta & Kalamata Olive Tapenade; Roasted Red Pepper Tapenade; Rose Harissa Paste; and Rose Harissa Pesto (rsps: £2.50-£3/170g-175g).
Cypressa has secured retail listings with Co-op for Smoky Tagine and Aubergine & Feta Mezze. The rest of the range has rolled into independent retailers.
“We are very excited to be launching this new selection of pastes and tapenades, which really champions the sunshine flavours of the Mediterranean and Middle East,” said Cypressa commercial controller Harry Constantinou.
The “versatile” new pastes were “a brilliant accompaniment to so many dishes”, he added.
It comes after Cuzena launched a trio of Middle Eastern-inspired marinades into Co-op in October.
