Speed Connecting

JJ Foodservice is relaunching its Future Partners programme for 2026 to connect food, drink, cleaning and packaging suppliers with buyers.

Following a successful debut in 2025, Future Partners is returning as the wholesaler continues to expand its range and open new branches across the UK.

The programme will take place at this year’s JJ Connect conference on 9 October at Convene Bishopsgate, London. The conference, themed ‘The New Food Landscape’, will feature exclusive market insights, supplier success stories and ‘Speed Connecting’ sessions with JJ’s buying team.

Suppliers looking to take part in Future Partners can register interest via a free online application form. Shortlisted suppliers will be invited to JJ Connect to take part in the Speed Connecting sessions, which are fast-paced, face-to-face meetings.

“Our customers are changing and so is the way people eat,” said JJ Foodservice chief product officer Sezer Ozkul. “We’re growing into new markets including hotels, home delivery and retail, and we need the right partners alongside us.

“Future Partners is our way of opening the door to suppliers who share our ambition – whether they’re an established brand or a brilliant small producer with something different to offer. If you think you belong in our range, we want to hear from you.”

In March, JJ unveiled plans to expand to two new branches this year, while it continues to grow its product range with specialist and premium lines.

The wholesaler has acquired a new 28,000 sq ft site in Ipswich, which is due to open later this year. This will extend its reach across the region with businesses and homes in Ipswich, Great Yarmouth, Norwich, Colchester and surrounding areas able to access its range.

JJ has also confirmed that its 33,000 sq ft Nottingham branch remains on track to open this summer.

The openings form part of the group’s national expansion drive, after it set out a five-year strategy in October to launch eight new branches and its first overseas facility in the Netherlands.
