Joe & the Juice profits skyrocketed in 2024 as the food-to-go brand sets its sights on expanding further across the UK.

For the year to 31 December 2024, pre-tax profits jumped by 497.8% to £8.1m, while revenue rose by 15.3% to £88.8m, according to the latest figures filed at Companies House.

Revenue growth was driven by increasing same store sales, the full year effect of the incorporation of delivery turnover, which “doubled in 2024 compared to 2023”, and price increases to “absorb impacts of a high inflationary pressure on input prices” throughout the year, the business said.

While Joe & the Juice increased its estate from 67 stores in 2023 to 72 in 2024, it plans to boost its UK presence further with a near-term growth strategy “centred around profitable and sustainable expansion”.

As well as opening new stores, the company plans to continue driving increased same store sales in heritage stores.

The juice bar added that its efforts would now build on “reinforcing guest loyalty by driving innovation across menu and offerings, enhancing convenience and guest service through digital initiatives, and further cultivating brand awareness”.

For the 2025 financial year, the business expects pre-tax profits of between £8m and £10m.

It comes as Joe & the Juice unveiled a nationwide partnership with Uber Eats earlier this month in a bid to expand its fast delivery offering.

The tie-up will give Joe & the Juice access to the rapid delivery firm’s UK footprint, which now spans over 70 towns and cities, with Uber Eats available to 90% of the UK population.
